This piece tells the story of a pioneering partnership between the Zoo and Eden Place Nature Center. SCIENCES sought to support scientific literacy and agency within a Chicago neighborhood and this report demonstrates the project’s successes, challenges, and possible applications for other science learning/urban community partnerships.
